Presentation Summary:
Dublin Open Concept Kitchen: Tight space with active young family. Ideation process concepts opened up kitchen and hallways, larger pantry, level floors (raised dropped living room), more windows and easier access to backyard, double dishwashers and sinks.
Alamo Kitchen Remodel: Owners liked existing layout but didn’t like developer’s quality. Replaced all cabinets and appliances (except hood and refrigerator). Upper cabinets have aligned wood grain for a warmer more contemporary look. Under cabinet LED lighting brightens up space. Corner cabinet utilizes dead corner space for storage.
Danville Tear Down New Build: Clients liked neighborhood but not the small home on the large lot. Build new home with 10’ walls and vaulted ceiling with a craftsman style. Now has an open concept kitchen and more space for family and friends.
Danville Guest Suite & Family Room Addition: All bedrooms were upstairs and existing small family room was open to kitchen. It was a bit noisy with three growing boys. Ideation process utilized side yard for larger vaulted family room that can be closed off from rest of house but still visible. Family room has large sliders for backyard access. Guest bedroom and bathroom added for visitors with bathroom access to backyard. Entire home reroofed and painted to update look. Addition blends with existing home. Skylights added in upstairs loft and new family room for more natural light.
Danville ADU underway: Uniquely designed space for new office, guest quarters, and entertainment space.
Walnut Creek ADU underway: Parents building their own space so daughter and family can take over primary residence on site.
Blackhawk Master Suite Addition and Outdoor Pavilion underway: Clients want first floor guest quarters for aging parents and aging in place for them. Want improved covered outdoor entertaining space with kitchen, fire pit, and gas heaters.
