Mariam Whitten

Personal Property Appraiser

Mariam is a personal property appraiser and auction consultant with over 25 years of experience in the auction industry. She has her own auction advisory and appraisal practice in the Bay area and is the Director of Appraisal Services at John Moran Auctioneers & Appraisers.

She is an Accredited Member of the International Society of Appraisers and prepares USPAP-compliant appraisals for the purposes of insurance coverage and claims, estate planning, estate tax filing, equitable distribution, and charitable donations. Mariam is a generalist appraiser with experience providing appraisals and valuations for general house contents including fine art, wine, decorative art objects, jewelry, furniture, and books.
