My name is Ally Rothfuss and I own Jaded Desserts. It is a cottage food home bakery located in Livermore, CA. I use specialty ingredients such as gluten free flour and dairy free buttery spread, and I also offer items with no sugar added.

I make decorated sugar cookies, drop cookies, macarons, bars, muffins and cakes. I am lactose intolerant and understand the difficulty of finding recipes that take into account food sensitivities yet still taste good. For years I searched online for Gluten Free recipes substituting butter with Earth Balance Dairy Free Buttery Spread. The results varied from okay to terrible and I was never satisfied.

It wasn’t until 2021, when I got a copy of America’s Test Kitchen’s How Can It Be Gluten Free that I realized just because it was gluten free doesn’t mean it has to taste gluten free. Everything in the book just tastes really good. I’ve used the book for Jaded Desserts and now have a handful of my own recipes and look forward to creating more recipes. I enjoy making good food for more people. I hope that I can share my passion for baking with you.
